Meet the Pixers is our blog series where we introduce you to the talented folks who make our company a success. Today, we’re featuring Phi Nguyen, our Senior Engineer.
Tell us a little bit about your background:
I moved around a bit, but I have been living in Massachusetts my entire life. From an early age, I quickly figured out that I had passion for mathematics and problem solving, which eventually led me to pursue a software engineering career. I have been with Pixability ever since obtaining my degree in Computer Science.
Aside from my career, I have always been passionate about music. I would say that music connects with me on an emotional level so I am on a never ending journey to discover new artists!
What is the last thing you watched on YouTube?
The Rubik’s Cube 3×3 World Record of 3.13 seconds
It takes a great deal of effort to reach this level of cubing. The work ethic from these top cubers is inspirational. I picked up speedcubing at an early age and have been training on-and-off to get faster, with my current record at 9 seconds. Cubing has also taught me the value of self-improvement.
