Pixability is extremely proud to support the LGBTQIA+ community during Pride Month – and every month. To show our support, we are once again participating in the Steps to Stonewall Challenge.
Developed internally by our driven Culture Committee, Pixability’s Steps to Stonewall Challenge remembers and honors the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan. The uprising occurred on June 28th, 1969 at the Stonewall Inn and serves as the catalyst to the Gay Rights Movement across the globe.
To commemorate the event, Pixability educates its employees about the Stonewall Uprising and invites team members to walk, jog, or run their way to hitting a company-wide step goal of 500,000 steps. The employee who records the most steps within our challenge dates will receive an exciting prize and recognition throughout our organization.
We have provided suggestions to our participants including podcast playlists such as NPR’s The Sound of Pride: Stonewall at 50 and Pride Created Music Lists on Spotify to listen and learn while they participate.
